PanIIT Alumni association (PIAI) is a not-for-profit registered society of IIT alumni across campuses, with a charter for ‘Nation Building’. PanIIT Alumni Reach for India is a not-for-profit social enterprise, under the aegis of PIAI, committed to execute and scale self-sustainable business models that enhance incomes of the underprivileged sections leveraging PanIIT and other like minded networks. Current initiatives include rural finishing schools, rural BPOs and rural agro-processing rental Hubs.

Mr.Hari Padmanabhan, former Deputy Managing Director , 3i infotech is the Founding patron and Mr.Ashank Desai, Founder Director, Mastek and Mr.Kris Gopalkrishnan, CEO & MD, Infosys are executive sponsors. PanIIT Alumni Reach for India is overseen by a board whose members are from various walks of life including corporate, Academics and government with a nominee from the PanIIT Alumni board.

Team of Passionate Professionals

• The management team of PanIIT Alumni Reach for India consists of seven IITians and four domain experts who have given up their lucrative corporate careers to pursue Nation Building on a full time basis. Most of them have a business background with an average work experience of about 10 years in the industry.
  
  
• The gurukuls are run by ex-servicemen who continue their service to the country by shaping youth in to skilled personnel with patriotic values and work ethics with trainers transferred from the clients.
